Carbon Monoxide on the Body

When a person inhales carbon monoxide into their lungs they can develop carbon monoxide poisoning, the gas is breathed in and travels to the blood stream and prevents blood from carrying oxygen around your body which will cause your cells and tissues to die as they need oxygen to survive.  Having the gas in your bloodstream also damages your blood vessels which can cause swelling to the brain, nerve damage and even death.
